Metronome

The metronome provides a timing reference to aid practise.

Sound 1 / 2

Sound 1 determines the drum sound used on the first beat of each bar, Sound 2 determines the sound for all other beats.

Beats

Determines the amount of beats in each bar.

MIDI Channel

Determines the MIDI channel (1 - 16) used for output. In most cases drum sounds are found on MIDI Channel 10.

Tempo

Determines the tempo (or speed) of the metronome.

On / Off

Switches the metronome sound on or off. When the sound is switched on you can close this dialog box and return to Guitar Power's fretboard display - the metronome sound will continue.

Important Note

Depending on the speed of your processor, amount of memory etc., windows messages such as mouse movement or menu selection can interfere with the tempo of the metronome. For this reason it is also recommended that you close other programs whilst using the metronome feature.
